TIME: 630 - 815p. Registration starts @ 6p - Space is limited to 40 students and must be reserved in advance.
To reserve your space, please email Lucinda Tutterow @ email@example.com.
WHERE: The New Ice Sheet @ Weber
State University – next to the Dee
Who: Anyone ages 12 to 80!!
COST: $15.00 per person (cash only)
What to Wear: dress warm but in layers. Warm socks, flexible, comfortable, closed-toed, flat rubber-soled shoes - tennis shoes work well, (for safety reasons, Absolutely no heels of any kind, flip flops, boots, dress shoes, loafers, converse, uggs or toms), pants that allow for movement (preferably not jeans as they restrict your movement and hold in the wetness from touching knee to ice. Also, shorts of any kind are not recommended as you will be touching knees to ice - you'll see why when we show you the ice after it's prepped), a light weight jacket, gloves and a hat.
Again, NO BOOTS of any kind - hiking, uggs or other wise.
The ice is very slippery and wearing inappropriate footwear makes the ice more dangerous to walk on.
Dress code - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT - it is the Ogden Curling Clubs policy that the following dress code be strictly adhered too.
The Ogden Curling Club wants you to have a positive experience learning to curl but, reserves the right to refuse to let anyone on the ice if proper footwear is not worn.
